Jump back into your favorite board game and play against AI or human opponents in Real Checkers.

Even though Real Checkers was released by GameTop well over 15 years ago, this continues to be a great title for those who are fans of the classic board game. In addition to being completely free to use, this game is also incredibly lightweight, and you should be able to run it on practically any Windows device that you own. Whether you want to waste a few minutes in a quick match or lose yourself for hours, this is the game for you.

One of the best aspects of this game is the overall ambiance that it creates. While the graphics are outdated, they still provide you with aa great view of the board. The soundtrack is also excellent, and it is going to put you in the right state of mind to defeat your opponents. Before you start your first game, you might want to spend a little bit of time exploring all of the settings so that you can alter the graphics and sound effects.

When you are ready to play, you can choose an AI opponent or connect to a friend. During the games themselves, you control all of your pieces by dragging them from one position to the next. Whenever you make a move, the game displays the coordinates on the right side of the screen. As an added bonus, this game also includes a stats display, and you will be able to search through quite a bit of interesting information. That includes the average time of each game, your win-to-loss percentage, and how many games you have played total.
